The ReZort is very much one of those cheap package holidays - t's not going to be one of those trips you'll fondly remember forever but you'll occasionally look back and recall what a good time you had.
The real disappointment here is the fact that each of these were directed by women makes absolutely no difference to the final product; here we had a perfect opportunity to showcase, even show up, the dominant male directors.
What begins as a well-made, effective but admittedly routine chiller, turns into a much more sly and emotionally involving horror picture due to some clever shocks and a few fantastically orchestrated reveals.
